Clarke - The Southern Cross

Though it is less than 5 minutes long, The Southern Cross passes through many different techniques, styles, and tempi. This solo relies heavily on chromaticisms including neighbor tones.

Clarke - Funiculi, Funicula!

Funiculi, Funicula! presents an introduction, the theme, and two variations of the Neapolitan song by the same name. The most utilized technique in this piece is slurred scale patterns that sometimes ascend above the staff.

Clarke - Nereid

Nereid alternates between lyrical and technical sections and has a cadenza at the beginning and the end. One section features constant triple tonguing, while the other technical sections contain intervals up to an octave.
