
Marcello - Concerto in C minor

Concerto in C minor was originally composed for oboe and has been arranged and transposed for trumpet. It is mainly comprised of sixteenth note runs in either scale or arpeggio patterns, without many intervals larger than a fifth. It has very few chromaticisms but features some cadential trills.

Martinu - Sonatine

Sonatine is a single-movement work that spans less than two octaves in range. It requires light single tonguing as well as flutter tonguing. It has a very sustained ending reminiscent of a chorale. Parts available for trumpet in Bb or C.

*McKee - Centennial Horizon

Centennial Horizon was composed in 2011 and has a slow first movement and interlude followed by a fast, technical second movement. The first movement requires great flexibility and the ability to play in keys with 2-6 flats. The second movement consists of substantial double tonguing sections interspersed with flowing, triumphant lines. Only available for trumpet in C.
